Northstar California is a downhiller's paradise. Rugged terrain and gnarly features will challenge and thrill you. Our downhill and freeride bikes are the perfect match to the terrain we have to offer.

Helmets are required to ride the Northstar Mountain Bike Park and lift tickets are required for lift access. Helmet and gloves are included with bike rentals. Don't forget to get familiar with the mountain bike safety and responsibility code before you ride.

Purchase any GIANT bike between May 1 and Sept 30, 2011 and bring your receipt to the Plaza Bikes Gear & Rental shop in the Village at Northstar™ to receive a FREE one-day summer lift ticket at Northstar! Ride 101 Mountain Biking Package	$80	$139
Northstar Resort's Ride 101 Mountain Biking Package for beginners includes a full access afternoon lift ticket, bike rental, protective equipment rental, and 1.5-hour Ride 101 instruction from the Northstar Bike Academy at mid-mountain starting at 1:00 p.m. Subject to availability. Please sign up in person by 12:30 p.m. at the Plaza Bikes Gear + Rental Shop. Ride 101 instruction begins at 1:00 p.m.

Release of Liability

A mountain bike release of liability will need to be signed when picking up your rental equipment. Those under the age of 18 require a parent/guardian liability release signature.

Bike Rental Policies

If you are planning to rent a bike, please refer to our Bike Rental Policies before arriving.

All bike rentals require a credit card deposit.
Debit cards are not acceptable.
Photo ID is required to verify bike renter.
Renters under the age of 18 require a parent/guardian signature on the rental form.

Bike Rental Damage Insurance

For just $9, protect yourself from costs of damage to our rental bike. This covers damaged components and labor required to repair the bike that may encounter under normal riding conditions. This insurance does not cover theft of the bike nor does it cover abusive or negligent riding.

Reserve Online or Arrive Early

All Mountain Bike rentals are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Quantities are limited, so we recommend reserving your bike rental online or arriving early to ensure availability. Online rental bike availability is based on a limited inventory and must be rented 48 hours in advance. If you don’t see bikes available in your size, bikes may be rented at Plaza Bikes in the Village on a first come first served basis.
