Lake Tahoe Mountain Bike Trails

In addition to the great lift access mountain bike trails at Northstar-at-Tahoe™ Resort, Lake Tahoe offers some of the best mountain biking in the world. Below are some of our favorite rides in the area. Learn more about these rides from the staff at the Northstar bike shop.

Truckee

• Coldstream Canyon - 11 mi loop
• Emigrant Memorial Trail - 30 mi out and back
• Sawtooth Trail - 9.1 mi loop
• Tompkin's Memorial Trail (TMT) - many loops from 4-10 mi

Donner Summit

• Hole in the Ground - 15-20 miles trail near Donner Summit

Squaw Valley

• Western States - this trail is an out and back and can take you all the way to Auburn if you are up for it.

Incline Village

• The Flume Trail - amazing views of Lake Tahoe on this classic ride
