Junior Golf Programs

Learning golf at an early age is a gift that lasts forever. You will be happy to hear about Northstar California's golfing opportunities for junior golfers, ages 17 and under, including forward tee markers, special Junior rates, and Junior lessons and clinics.

Forward Tee Markers

At Northstar, our Golf Course makes playing more fun than ever before for kids 17 and under. All Juniors can play from forward tees on Holes 1 through 9 ranging from 60 to 220 yards.

Juniors (7 - 12) - Monday & Tuesday in July & August 9:00 - 11:00 a.m.	$80
Juniors (7 - 12) - Thursday & Friday in July & August 9:00 - 11:00 a.m.	$80
Junior golf schools are available from June 20, 2011 through August 2011. Classes will develop players' full swing and short game skills as well as focus on rules, etiquette, and on-course play. Reservations required. Space is limited. Sign up in the pro shop or call 530.562.3290.
Weekly Group Clinics	Rate
Family Clinic (1 adult/1 child - additional member $10) - Thursdays at 4:00 p.m.	$30
Juniors Clinic (17 and under) - Sundays at 11:00 a.m.	$20
Clinics are available starting June 12 through August 2011. Group lessons last approximately 45 minutes and are on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations not required.

Junior Golf Clubs and Golf Attire

All participants in the Golf Clinics and Lessons must have a set of golf clubs. If there is a need for equipment, please inform the Pro Shop. Juniors need to wear proper attire and footwear. Golf shoes or tennis shoes are suggested. Please, no flip-flops or sandals. This is a very good starting point for learning proper golf etiquette.

Golf Cart Policy

Junior golfers 17 and under are not permitted to drive golf carts. Golfers must be age 18 years of age or older to drive the golf cart.
