Perfect for a weekend retreat with the family or trekking solo, Northstar California's guided hikes are a wonderful opportunity to learn more about Northstar's natural history, flora, fauna, and hiking trails in a healthy and entertaining way. These fun and educational hikes are offered throughout the summer during Bike + Hike Park operations, weather and conditions permitting.

For beginner hikers. This free guided tour will follow the Sunset Loop Trail, a fairly easy 0.76 mile hike, traversing the West ridge of Mt. Pluto and offering spectacular views of the Pacific Crest and back side of Northstar. Along the way you will come across information vista points that describe the Northstar Habitat Management Plan. Meet at the Gondola upper deck at 11:00 a.m. Leashed four-legged friends are welcome. | |||

Free Guided Hikes do not include $6 hiking ticket purchase. Hiking tickets are available for purchase in the Village at Northstar at the Tickets + Season Pass Office or Plaza Bike Rental Shop. 2011 Hiking passholders and 2011.12 ski/ride pass holders are invited no additional charge.
