2010 Golf Lessons + Clinic Rates

Adult Golf Schools	Rate
Adult (ages 16+) - single	$229
Adult (ages 16+) - couple	$200
Adult (ages 16+) - 3 or more	$175
Adult - 2010 Northstar Golf Season Passholders	$175
Offered June 12 through September 18 on Saturdays from 12:00 - 5:00 p.m. and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Adult golf schools will focus on full swing, ball flight corrections, putting, pitching, chipping and sand play. Each session will also include on-course play focusing on course management, scoring, rules and etiquette.  Maximum 4:1 student to teacher ratio.  Reservations required.  Space is limited.  Sign up in the pro shop or call 530.562.3290.
Junior Golf Schools	Rate
Juniors (ages 7 - 12 only) - Monday & Tuesday in July & August 9:00 - 11:00 a.m.	$80
Junior golf schools will focus on rules, etiquette, chipping, putting and full swing.  Reservations required.  Space is limited.  Sign up in the pro shop or call 530.562.3290.
Weekly Group Clinics	Rate
Women's Full Swing Clinic - Wednesdays at 11:00 a.m. June 16 through August	$25
Adult Full Swing Clinic (open to all) - Sundays at 9:00 a.m. June 13 through August	$25
Family Clinic* - Thursdays at 4:00 p.m. June 24 through August(1 adult and 1 junior)	$30
Juniors Clinic (17 and under) - Sundays at 10:00 a.m. June 13 through August	$20
Group lessons last approximately 45 minutes.  Space is limited; Reservations not required. Please call the Pro Shop at 530.562.3290. *Each additional junior golfer may join the Family Clinic for $10.

Pete Smith, Head Pro

Golf instruction at Northstar Resort is under the direction of Pete Smith, PGA. Pete and his staff are ready to help you learn, improve, and enjoy your golf game.

Pete has over 30 years of successful high-level teaching experience, and his knowledge and expertise have made him the top instructor in our area for the past 20 years.

Pete previously was the teaching professional at Kapalua-Maui and the Olympic Club-San Francisco.

Dane Olah, Assistant Pro

Dane is in his second year as an Assistant Golf Professional at Northstar Resort. He is a Campbell University Professional Golf Management graduate, eligible for Class A honors. He is skilled with all levels of instruction with five years of teaching experience. Dane will be the lead instructor for the Thursday afternoon Family Golf Clinics at 4:00 p.m. and will be available for private/group lessons upon request.

Stoffi Spora, Assistant Pro

Stoffi is new to Northstar Resort as a Golf Professional. He is a native of Austria and a professional ski instructor in the winter at Northstar Resort. He is a Professional Golf Management graduate of Ferris State University, where he earned 2nd Team All-American honors as a collegiate golfer. He is a former Alps Tour Playing Professional and was the 2006 Ski & Golf World Champion. With 10 years of golf instruction experience, his teaching skills are very refined. Stoffi will be the lead instructor in our new golf schools and will be available for private instruction.
