Northstar Downhill Mountain Bike Race Series

 

Northstar California's downhill terrain offers the perfect venue for our exciting and challenging downhill race series. There are over 20 divisions for men, women and juniors to compete in and the top three in each division receive awards at the conclusion of each race and at the conclusion of the series, based on cumulative points.

Race after-parties and awards will be held on the Day Lodge Deck (at mid-mountain) with food and drink specials! Awards are scheduled to begin at approximately 3:30 p.m. (or a half hour after the final competitor).

 

Downhill Mountain Bike Race Dates

All race courses will be closed one half hour before the start of the race. The 2012 race courses will be announced soon.

Race Fee & Registration

Register today for the 2012 Downhill Mountain Bike Race Series at Northstar! Register online at least 24 hours in advance the day prior to the race, or register in person on the morning of the race from 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. in the Village at Northstar Tickets & Season Pass Office. All racers must check-in by 10:30 a.m. in the Tickets & Season Pass Office.

Racer lift tickets are not included in the entry fee. Racer lift tickets are $35 each with proof of registration and can be purchased when you register for the race/series.

Format will be a one-run race. USA Cycling license is not required. All racers must complete the Mountain Bike Release of Liability prior to racing. Helmets are required. Please call 1.800.GO.NORTH (1.800.466.6784) for more information.

Single Race: $35 (lift ticket not included)

Race Series (all 8 races): $240

Pro Race Series (all 8 races): $265 (includes entry into the Tara Llanes Classic)

Pro Purse: $10 cash per rider, per race
