Northstar Resort and all of their staff are wonderful. It was our first time here and everyone was very helpful and friendly. My kids (ages 5 & 8) had their first snowboarding lessons and the instructors (Mac & Isaac) were great. They gave them great instruction and were very patient!

Parents, you are leaving your kids in good hands.

Our family calls two places in the United States heaven. Culver, Indiana, Lake Maxincukee where we spend the summer with my family water skiing and golfing. And Northstar-at-Tahoe where we have spring skied since 1993! Northstar was fantastic back in the day when it was merely a ski area! However, the NEW and improved Northstar is also fantastic. The resort has kept the family appeal! The slopes, the restaurants, the shops, and the ambiance are upscale yet casual! The staff is down-to-earth and friendly!

This is resort has upgraded, however you do not have to keep up with the Jones' on gear and clothing. Anything rides and skis at Northstar!!

I want to thank the hero that made my day, today, December 12, 2009. After a full day having participated in the awesome $25 Learn to Ride deal, (I usually ski so was marveling about this new set of sore muscles), I was sitting at the top of Village Run, thinking, okay, got to get these bindings tight and get up off my butt for this last run. Lo and behold, up walks this knight in his Northstar info vest who asked if I needed help, then proceeded to tighten my bindings, pulled me up for my last run, and even wished me a great day as we parted.

I am sure I am not the only one he helped but I think I am the most grateful! Please, please relay my appreciation to him!!

I would like you to know you have an unbelievable team of employees at Northstar. My family & I have spent the last three summers riding. We got into mountain biking by accident, and when tried the trails at Northstar, we immediately became hooked. My husband has been fighting cancer the last 3 years, not only has his family kept him going but I would like to think him looking forward to riding. Northstar has been a big part of his optimism.

Your staff has always been kind, courteous, and personable. Thank you soooo much! It has been an amazing experience!

I wanted to thank Northstar-at-Tahoe colleagues for making our family reunion a wonderful experience.  The reunion package was great and minimized the planning and coordinating that we had to do for meals, activities, etc.  Our condos were comfy and spacious and most of us enjoyed the walk to the village and rec center and those who didn't want to walk were able to take the shuttle. 
 
The staff was wonderful, especially, since they had to make last minute adjustments to accommodate us inside due to the rain.  The kids were able to run around on the driving range since it was after hours and we enjoyed a fantastic double rainbow before sunset - that wasn't part of your planning, was it? :)
 
So thank you again for all your assistance.  I will definitely recommend Northstar to friends looking for a family friendly vacation.  Hopefully, we will be back sometime soon.

As a college student in the San Francisco Bay Area, I have found that it is absolutely necessary to make every trip to Tahoe count. That is exactly why this year I decided to buy a (reasonably priced) double whammy with vertical plus. I have found that purchasing a pass to Northstar as the best decision i have made in a while. I have only ridden at Northstar this season, and I couldn't be happier! The resort is top-notch, the people are friendly, and the park is the best in all of Tahoe! Why would we commute 6 hours (round-trip) every weekend to ride anywhere else!? You guys are the best, and you can count on me getting a pass next year!

Our family just returned from a delightful vacation at Northstar.  We were so impressed with the friendliness and courtesy of your staff.  Every employee went out of his/her way to be helpful.  We especially appreciated the family atmosphere and the resort's concern for safety.  Lift operators were always alert to help load our small grandchildren onto the chairs.  As older skiers, we are wary of being injured by out-of-control skiers and snow boarders.  We were so grateful for the "mellow yellow" ski runs -- and the fact that employees were actually out there enforcing the rules.  We also appreciated the excellent shuttle service and free overnight ski storage.  It was a pleasure not to carry skis back and forth to the condo every day.  We have skied at many California resorts and have never encountered the outstanding level of service offered by Northstar.

Congratulations on making Northstar such a great ski resort. I "found" Northstar in 1985 and have enjoyed skiing with you every year since. Twenty+ years ago I was most impressed with the quality of your grooming and with the exceptional customer service of your staff. In recent years, your grooming continues to be the best in the Tahoe area. And, the customer service of all your staff continues to be exemplary.

When our customers ask: Where do you like to ski?; Which is a good family resort?; Which area has great groomed slopes?; - my response to all these questions is Northstar at Tahoe.  Keep up the great work.

I was at your resort over the MLK wknd and skied for 3 days with my family and friends. ...we all noted and commented on the amazing staff that you have. There was not one unpleasant or even mediocre employee that we had contact with. All were very cordial, accommodating and helpful. You do an excellent job in hiring and training and  it is so refreshing. We had an amazing time and Northstar is truly a wonderful family environment.

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for providing me and my family with a fantastic vacation experience last week. Northstar has clearly distinguished itself from the other Tahoe mtns through the quality of their staff. This was one of the best ski vacation experiences we've ever had. Every person I or my family dealt with at Northstar (from instructors and lift operators to ski valets) were friendly, knowledgable and very helpful. Keep up the good work!
