It’s all about quality time with friends, new-found adventures and the stories you will tell about your weekend at Northstar-at-Tahoe™ Resort.   As spectacular as Northstar® Resort is in the winter, it's just as, if not more beautiful and fun in the summer.

 

Find Your Path

So what do the lifts do when the snow melts?  We start revving them up and turn them over to hikers and bikers.  For the ultra-hardcore, there are long runs ready to be bombed and loads of ramps and jumps.  This is after all, Northern California's largest moutain bike park! For those who like to go up-hill just as much as going down on their bikes, there are miles and miles of scenic cross-country trails.  One of our favorites is the Watson Lake Loop that is approximately 11.5 miles and takes around 2.5 hours.  Click here for trail details.

Always wished you had time to perfect your back hand in tennis or take a few strokes off your golf game?  Our PGA-certified golf pros and USPTA-certified tennis pros are always ready to help you tune up.

Spend the Night, We'll pay for your Summer Activity

Northstar Resort’s Stay & Play FREE lodging packages  are the best kept secret on the north shore. Starting at $75 per person, you and someone special (double occupancy, two night minimum) can stay in our studio (upgrades to condos available) and enjoy the activity of your choice (golf, kayak or bike) for free!

Northstar-at-Tahoe Resort Condo or Mountain Home lodging guests enjoy free access to the Recreation Center.  Stretch out your muscles with a few laps in our outdoor pools, relax and unwind in one of the outdoor spas.  A quick shuttle ride will take you from door to door.

Looking for luxury in the new Village at Northstar™?  Reserve a Great Bear or Iron Horse villa, located steps away from restaurants, ice skating, art galleries and shops and enjoy expansive views of your mountain surroundings and/or the vibrant Village below.

Treats and Eats

For delicious baked goods or a gourmet picnic lunch, stop by Earthly Delights.  Choose from freshly made sandwiches, Asian noodles, Italian pasta, chips, beverages, cookies and wine.

When you are ready to call it a day, stop in at Mikuni’s Restaurant and Sushi Bar where a warm Saki and award-winning sushi await you.  After dinner, walk over to Rubicon Pizza for a nightcap and delicious dessert at the bar or stay outside and cozy up to the fire pits next to the skating rink.  There is an oasis of comfy chairs and lounges around the rink and two bars on either side.

Clothing and Outdoor Accessories

Packing for summer in Lake Tahoe is not quite the same as a road trip down the coast. Evenings and early mornings can be cool with the mid day sun strong and hot. Shop for the latest summer fashion at True North, The North Face, Northstar Logo Company and Butterbox located in The Village at Northstar – just a few of the 22 shops to explore. Sunscreen, hats, jackets, sweaters, snacks, books and magazines can all be found in The Village.
