Northstar California Ski & Snowboard School is proud to welcome and offer clinic programs presented by the North American Ski Training Center (NASTC).

NASTC's talented and top ranked instructors will lead you through a multi-day progression that will build stronger skiing skills and you will come away with a wider variety of tactics to enhance your overall mountain experience.  Whether your goal is to cruise the corduroy, rip it up in ungroomed terrain or charge down the steeps; NASTC will provide you with the hands-on personalized coaching that you need to reach those goals. 

Carefully selected terrain and intimately sized groups coached by PSIA National Alpine Team and the Western Regional Team members help create the ideal learning environment for success.  The indoor tech talks and personalized video review sessions are included in each camp help you visualize your learning progression.  There are many good skiers out there, NASTC can help you become one of the great ones. 

After spending all day out on the slopes, the Village at Northstar awaits you with many great après-ski options, lots of unique stores, restaurants and an ice-skating rink. Dial in your technique with NASTC and have a blast at this fun world class resort.

 

Early Season Jumpstart Your Skiing

Dates:  December 7 - 10, 2011

Cost:  $1,200

Levels:  6 - 9

Includes:  Instruction, lift tickets and 1 dinner

This course is designated to help you start your season off with a solid platform of good fundamentals.  Your coach will work with any  cracks or weaknesses in your skill set to help you dial in the technique that you need to ski hard the rest of the season.  With coaching from NASTC's top trainers and mileage on Northstar's long sheltered trails ; you will come away from the course with higher confidence levels, improved efficiency and form - ready for a winter full of skiing. We look forward to skiing and sharing this world class resort with you.

 

Sample Daily Itinerary

8:30 a.m. - Meet at Northstar

8:45 a.m. - Short Orientation, Meet Trainer, Split into Groups

9:00 a.m. - Skill Development

12:00 p.m. - Lunch break

1:00 p.m. - Video, Free Skiing, Personal Feedback  

4:30 p.m. - Indoor Clinic, Video Viewing

6:30 p.m. - Dinner with Group (group dinner scheduled for last night of course)

NASTC's signature All Conditions/All Terrain course series is designed to help skiers build the necessary skills and tactics to experience more of the mountain.   Northstar's terrain makes moving from intermediate and advanced runs to more challenging, off-piste terrain easy.  Guided mileage, personal feedback and video by NASTC's coaching staff will help you transition to the next level in your skiing.
