Kid's Ski + Board School (Ages 3 - 12)

Learning to ski or ride for kids at Northstar California couldn't be more fun at the Kid's Ski & Board School. We also offer Kid's Private Lesson as well as state licensed Child Care for non-skiing children ages 2 - 6 at Minors' Camp.

All ages love our Kid's Ski + Board School mascot, Marty the Martian. Allow Marty to take you on a galactic interactive tour of the Northstar Children's Center. Tour the facility and reserve children's ski and snowboard lessons online. Bring your child over to play Marty's fun online games!

Burton Snowboard Academy

All Burton Snowboard Academy packages for kid's 7 - 12 include a Burton snowboard rental, lift ticket, and an all day lesson from 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Students receive snowboard equipment at the Burton Snowboard Academy lounge at Mid Mountain.

Lids On Kids

Northstar strongly recommends children ages 12 and under participating in the Ski & Snowboard School wear an approved, snowsports specific helmet, either a rental helmet or their own. We also recommend helmet use for all skiers and snowboarders, regardless of age or ability. Helmets are available to rent and purchase at ski and snowboard shops and the children's center.
