Northstar™ Resort knows what it's like to be a beginner.  To make the first day easy, we have “magic carpet” beginner lifts for all age groups and station teaching for those who want to learn at their own pace.  Our group lesson packages  are created for adult learners, ages 13+, which focuses on the needs of skiers and boarders just starting out.

Test Gravity One Inch at a Time

For those who want to get started skiing/riding in the park, the Burton Progression Park  is a great introduction to freestyle terrain. Each park feature is a smaller version of larger freestyle terrain features, with gentle landings and plenty of elbow room. This groundbreaking park provides a laid-back, non-intimidating environment for riders of all ages who want to develop their terrain park skills.
