Try out the latest and greatest gear and see how they hold up on the steeps, in the bumps or through the powder.  The Demo Center carries the newest skis from K2, Nordica, Volkl, Atomic, Dynastar, Blizzard and Rossi; ski boots from Technica, Nordica, Lange and Atomic. Demo snowboards from Burton, Forum, Rome, DC and K2.  Try it before you buy it!

Demo Center Location/Hours

Northstar's High Performance Demo Center is located by the Skating Rink, next to Rubicon Pizza in the Village at Northstar™ and at mid-mountain as you exit the Big Springs Gondola. There is also a demo shop located in the Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe at mid-mountain primarily for our Ritz-Carlton guests. The Village Demo Shop is open 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. daily and the mid-mountain demo shop is open 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily when the Resort is open for skiing/riding.

Demo Damage Waiver

Protect yourself from costs of damage to our demo gear by purchasing in advance our Damage Waiver Protection Plan for as little as $5 per day. Ski/ride worry free about damage caused by hidden rocks and debris.
