Family Snowshoe Tours

Grab the kids and join us for our Family Afternoon Snowshoe Tours taking place at Northstar California this winter season. These tours are a wonderful way to introduce your little ones to the great outdoors in a fun, unintimidating, friendly atmosphere. The tours are open to all ages and will be an easy snowshoe for the whole family.

Tours will begin at the Cross Country, Telemark & Snowshoe Center at 1:00 p.m. and will last approximately 3 hours, including rest breaks. Your friendly guide will lead you on a snowshoe adventure along some of our easier trails through scenic forests and alpine meadows. Tours will then return to the Cross Country Center for hot chocolate, cookies, and snow play.

Cost

Adults: $40

Children (12 & Under): $25

Clothing Attire + Equipment

Please make sure to wear warm and waterproof shoes and clothing. We recommend snow boots to keep your feet warm and multiple layers of clothing so you can adjust for your temperature during the tour.

Snowshoes are not provided with the tour, but are available for rent.

For children who may get tired, our Chariot Carrier sleds will be provided for the group's use free of charge.

Dates + Times

All tours will begin at 1:00 p.m. and will depart from the Cross Country Ski, Telemark & Snowshoe Center. Tours last approximately 3 hours.

Reservations

Reservations are required and have a 24-hour cancellation policy. We do recommend signing up early, these events have a tendency to fill up quickly!
