Sawmill Heights Apartments

Enjoy amazing views and a great location at the Sawmill Heights Apartments at Northstar-at-Tahoe™ Resort!

We are currently accepting applications for 2 and 4 Bedroom non-smoking apartments available immediately. All units are non- smoking and fully furnished with the exception of linens and kitchen essentials. A common room equipped with internet access and coin operated laundry facilities on-site.  We offer easy access to great hiking and biking trails, and we are minutes away from the beaches and ski slopes of Lake Tahoe.  Pets are not allowed.

All housing inquiries should be directed to Northstar™ Resort’s HR department.  HR is available Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.  Security deposit, cleaning fee, and one month’s rent due upon check-in.  Please contact us at 530.562.3510, or email northstarhousing@boothcreek.com.

Housing Resources

For listings in Lake Tahoe and Truckee, try www.tahoe.com, under “Classifieds/Real Estate”, which lists rentals from the local newspapers. 

Also you can try the Housing Connection, a service which provides rental listings for the entire North Shore area.  Interested parties can gain access to the list for a two-month membership fee of $39. The Housing Connection claims to have 300 long-term (one month or longer) that are not listed in the newspaper.  You can sign up on their website at www.housingconnection.com or by calling Sarina at, (530) 583-0880 or faxing (530) 583-2881.

Reno is located approximately 40 minutes from Truckee.  There are many advantages to living in Reno including warmer climate, cheaper rent, 24-hour nightlife, and better access to shopping and restaurants.  If you are looking for any shopping other than a drugstore and grocery store and any nightlife besides a few bars this is the place for you.  Rental listings for Reno can be found at www.rent.net.

Rental Rewards List
Once an applicant has received a job offer, he/she will have the opportunity to receive the Rental Rewards list.  Rental Rewards is a program where local homeowners are offered free lift tickets in exchange for renting to Northstar employees.  Many of the listings are being advertised primarily to our employees. Upon the receipt of a job offer, the Rental Rewards list will be available to pick up in Human Resources or you may request the list via email at northstarhousing@boothcreek.com.

Human Resources also has a Bulletin Board with space for postings of available housing as well as those looking for housing.
 
If you require transportation avoid renting in the following neighborhoods due to poor public transportation in these regions:

• Glenshire
• Tahoe Donner
• Donner Lake
• Tahoe City
