INSTRUCTION
For those looking to polish their skills, Northstar Resort's U.S. Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) expert staff offers private lessons, two and five-day camps, junior two-day camps and plenty of social mixers for guests looking to practice their tennis technique with a variety of people.

TWO AND FIVE-DAY CAMPS
Enjoy a fabulous tennis vacation in Lake Tahoe at one of Northstar Resort's tennis camps. These two or five-day camps include fun and challenging drills that develop strokes, court coverage, ball placement and strategies. With small groups of only three to six players, participants will benefit from individualized instruction. CARDIO TENNIS
Get the heart pumping with Cardio Tennis, a great way for guests to combine a high-energy workout and build endurance through tennis. Developed by fitness experts, cardio tennis places an emphasis on fun and fitness while playing tennis to music. Cardio Tennis clinics are available for adults Friday-Saturday from 8-9 a.m. Cost is $20 for a one-and-a-half hour session. Guests are encouraged to join the clinic that best suits their needs and ability level. Cardio Tennis includes various tennis drills and cross training in an effort to aid player stamina while on the courts.

SPECIAL EVENTS
Throughout the summer, Northstar Resort's Tennis Center will host a variety of events for adults and children. The Tennis Center hosts a social mixer every Tuesday with food, drinks and music from 4-6 p.m. This season also marks the Northstar Tennis Center's 31st Annual Northstar Open Tennis Tournament Sept.
8-10, 2006. As the largest tournament in Lake Tahoe, the Northstar Open typically receives over 400 entries in 12 divisions. The tournament is open to the public and all ages and ability levels are invited to participate.
