TRUCKEE/S. LAKE TAHOE, Calif.—Northstar and Sierra understand the need for a variety of different ways to learn and improve skiing and riding skills. Both resorts are committed to providing guests with a top-notch learning experience that will satisfy their needs regardless if it’s their first or fiftieth time on the slopes.
WOMEN’S CLINICS
Spend a day with the girls at Northstar-at-Tahoe and Sierra-at-Tahoe’s women’s clinics. Both resorts invite ladies ages 13 and older to hone their skiing and snowboarding skills in a series of upcoming clinics, taught for women by women.

NORTH AMERICAN SKI TRAINING CENTER
This season, Northstar has joined forces with the North American Ski Training Center (NASTC) to offer specialized clinics guests are guaranteed to enjoy. Since 1994, NASTC has helped skiers improve on conditions and terrain that challenge their students. This ultimate ski vacation combines fun-loving people, delicious food, fine wine and the beauty of Northstar’s mountain and 2, 420 acres of skiable terrain. NASTC’s total immersion clinics are led by members of the Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) demonstration team and class sizes are limited to no larger than six skiers per class.
Adults over 60 are invited to join NASTC’s Active Adults clinic offered Feb. 20-21. This Masters program will not only refine their skills and techniques but also allow guests to relax and enjoy fine wine and dinner after a day on the mountain. The Active Adults clinic is perfectly suited for those skiers of an intermediate to advanced skill set. Cost for the program is $764 and includes lodging, lift tickets, lessons and meals.
