FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

2009-2010 DOUBLE WHAMMY SEASON PASSHOLDERS SKI FREE
THE REST OF THE WINTER SEASON
Purchase Before April 30 And Save Up To $50

TRUCKEE and SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – March 13, 2009 – Beginning March 23, Northstar-at-Tahoe™ and Sierra-at-Tahoe® will offer free skiing for the rest of the winter season with the purchase of a 2009-2010 season pass*. The only dual mountain pass that enables skiers and snowboarders to experience both the North shore and the South shore of Lake Tahoe, the Double Whammy™ season pass gives passholders access to 4,490 acres of terrain, 129 trails, 29 lifts, three halfpipes, some of the most innovative terrain parks in the country, snowshoe trails at both resorts - plus more than 40 km of cross-country trails at Northstar® Resort.

Northstar-at-Tahoe and Sierra-at-Tahoe Resorts are scheduled to operate into mid to late April, weather and conditions permitting. March is typically the snowiest month of the season and, combined with the heavy mid-winter snowfall that Lake Tahoe has received, creates a compelling reason for skiers and snowboarders to buy next season’s pass early so that they can take advantage of what is anticipated to be an incredible spring at both resorts.

Another incentive to buy early is the savings - by purchasing before April 30, 2009, skiers and snowboarders can save up to $50 on their season pass. Guests can also turn in their same-day lift ticket for up to a $30 credit toward a 2009-2010 season pass. Season pass rates will increase on May 1, 2009. For details or to purchase a pass, skiers and snowboarders can log onto www.doublewhammypass.com.

Skiers and riders can choose from seven categories of pass value to suit their habit.
