SNOW WARZ III, THIS TIME WE SETTLE IT! (Until next year)

Santa Monica, California – (March 10, 2008) – Diplomacy has failed to answer the big question of this winter. Red Bull is the catalyst, Northstar-at-Tahoe ™ Resort the battle ground, April 12 is D-day. Red Bull Snow Warz is back and it will decide once and for all which college will reign supreme on the snow.

Red Bull Snow Warz returns for 2008 to Northstar-at-Tahoe Resort with teams of 4 – 6 college students made up of snowboarders and skiers battling it out on a progressive slopestyle course. Riders will be judged based on style, magnitude, and overall difficulty of tricks. Top pro riders will be on hand to judge and prizes including a trip to a West Regional Red Bull event but more importantly pride and bragging rights are at stake.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE – March 24th. Please register with your Red Bull Student Brand Manager on your campus or register your team or club at info@snowarz.com

SCHEDULE:

Friday April 11th
3 – 10pm – Registration in the Village at Northstar ™

Saturday April 12th
9am – 10am – Open Ride
10am – 1:30pm – Jam format competition
1:45pm – 3pm – Jam format final
8pm – Awards ceremony and after party with surprise guests

• Best Team 1st-3rd
• 1st place – The Destroyer: the rider who destroys the course (ski guy/girl)
• 2nd place – The Charger: the rider who is charging everything in sight (ski guy/girl)
• 1st place – The Destroyer: the rider who destroys the course (snowboard guy/girl)
• 2nd place – The Charger: the rider who is charging everything in sight (snowboard guy/girl)
• The Hammer Award: The student who is throwing down day and night. Last one to stop drinking and first to start riding!
• Tom Broke-Off Award: best crash of the day

PRIZES INCLUDE:
• Bragging rights as the best in the West & cool industry schwag
• Winning team will be able to choose from a selection of upcoming Red Bull events including:

WHO:
• You must be a college student
• Ski and Snowboard Clubs on college campus, college ski and snowboard teams, friends not in a club or organization that want to show their skills
• Schools can enter more than one team
• There is no entry fee
