FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 2008-2009 DOUBLE WHAMMY SEASON PASSHOLDERS SKI FREE THE REST OF THE WINTER SEASON
Northstar-at-Tahoe Resort will extend its season until the end of April while Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort is scheduled to operate into mid to late April, both weather and conditions permitting. March is typically the snowiest month of the season and, combined with the heavy mid-winter snowfall that Lake Tahoe has received and the extended closing date of Northstar Resort, creates a compelling reason for skiers and snowboarders to buy next season's pass early so that they can take advantage of what is anticipated to be an incredible spring at both resorts. Another incentive to buy early is the savings - by purchasing before April 30, 2008, skiers and snowboarders can save up to $100 on their season pass. Guests can also turn in their same-day lift ticket for up to a $30 credit toward a 2008-2009 season pass. Season pass rates will increase on May 1, 2008. For details or to purchase a pass, skiers and snowboarders can log onto www.doublewhammypass.com. Skiers and riders can choose from seven categories of pass value to suit their habit. |
