The 3rd Annual Northstar Snowshoe Social & Race Series for runners, walkers and kids represents a unique event for the Tahoe region!  Our three race series is open to all ages and ability levels so come on out and enjoy the snow and fresh air.

A Northstar Resort photographer will be on-site to memorialize the day, providing participants the option to purchase photos, and a casual lunch will follow each race. Atlas snowshoe rentals, including performance snowshoes, will be available at the Cross-Country Center.

Entry Cost (includes day-of trail pass, lunch awards and raffle)
Single Race Fees
Children (6 - 12):  $15
Adults (13+):  $30
* Pre-register for the December 19th race at least 48 hours in advance and be automatically entered in our "Big Prize" Raffle!  You'll have a chance to win a prize valued at over $300.  No Refunds.

Series Race Fees
Adults (13+): $70 Series Pre-Registration
* Pre-register for all 3 races in the Snowshoe Social & Race Series on or before December 16, 2009 to receive a discounted rate and be automatically entered in our "Big Prize" Raffle!  You'll have a chance to win a prize valued at over $300. No refunds.

Register
Pre-register online or call the Northstar Resort Cross-Country Ski, Telemark & Snowshoe Center at 530.562.3270.  We will offer day-of registration however you will not be entered into the "Big Prize" Raffle.  Visit our Season Pass & Tickets Office that morning to purchase your registration and receive a lift ticket to the Cross-Country Ski, Telemark & Snowshoe Center.  Number pick-up and race start will begin at the Center.

Race Time: 11:30 a.m.
Course: Designed by Peter Fain, Atlas Snowshoe Racing Team Member.  5K Fun Walk/Run - Start/finish at Northstar Cross-Country Center, a constant rolling course incorporating groomed and ungroomed single-track sections, an adventurous challenge for fitness and orienteering skills.  10K Competitive Run - Start/finish at Northstar Cross-Country Center incorporates two loops of the 5K course.  Qualifies for overall series crown. 500M Kid's Rising Star Rumble - Groomed and ungroomed trails (ages 6-8) 1K Kid’s Rising Star Rumble - Groomed and ungroomed trails (ages 9-12)
