The 2nd Annual Northstar Snowshoe Series for Runners, Walkers and Kids represents a unique event for the Tahoe region! Photographer Keith Facchino will be on-site to memorialize the day, providing participants the option to purchase photos.

Courses
Courses design by Peter Fain, Atlas Snowshoe Racing Team Member. Races will start at 11:30 a.m. There will be three separate courses:

5K Fun Walk Run - Start/finish at Northstar Cross-Country Center, a constant rolling course incorporating groomed and ungroomed single-track sections, an adventurous challenge for fitness and orienteering skills.

10K Competitive Run - Start/finish at Northstar Cross-Country Center incorporates two loops of the 5K course. Qualifies for overall series crown.

500M Kid's Rising Star Rumble - groomed and ungroomed trails (ages 6-8)

1K Kid’s Rising Star Rumble - groomed and ungroomed trails (ages 9-12)

Registration Information
Prior to the race, contact the Season Pass & Tickets Office at 1.800.GO.NORTH.
On Saturday, December 20, racers go to the Season Pass & Ticket Office in the Village to register for the race.
We will also be hosting a Snowshoe Running Clinic on January 3.
