Tahoe Plein Air Art Show & Sale at Northstar® Resort

Over thirty artists have been selected and will paint at locations throughout Truckee/North Lake Tahoe from September 8 through the morning of September 11. 

Nationally known plein air artists from California, Nevada and Colorado will paint on location throughout North Lake Tahoe for three days.  The judging, public exhibit and sale of these paintings will take place on Saturday September 11 and Sunday September 12 at the Village at Northstar™ during the Autumn Food & Wine Festival.  The public exhibit and sale then moves to North Tahoe Arts, 380 North Lake Blvd., Tahoe City and continues until September 26, 2010.  Paul Kratter and Craig Mitchell will judge the paintings Saturday morning and the public will have the opportunity to vote for the "People's Choice Award."  In addition, this year a silent auction "6x8 at the Lake" will be held on Saturday afternoon. 

Of the 32 selected artists, six are local to the Tahoe area: Andrew Bolam (Truckee, CA), Michele deBraganca (Tahoe City, CA), Bonita Paulis (South Lake Tahoe, CA), Heidi Reeves (Kings Beach, CA), Andy Skaff (Tahoma, CA) and Randall Stauss (Carnelian Bay, CA).
