Join Burton Snowboards and 10 mountain resorts across the United States for the first ever Burton Mountain Festival Tour - stopping at Northstar California February 3 - 5, 2012!

Riders and resort guests can enjoy a day of FREE on-snow entertainment, including Burton 2012 product demos, live music, sponsor giveaways, mini park for the smallest snowboarders and an amateur snowboard contest. The Burton Mountain Festival includes the Test Ride, Pro-Test, Riglet (children's snowboarding area), after-party at TC's Pub, and much more.

Poker Run

Saturday, February 4 from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Open to anyone, poker run participants must collect one card at each venue, and turn in cards at TC's Pub between 3:00 - 3:45 p.m. Awards will be announced at 4:00 p.m. to best and worst poker hands, and all decisions by judges are final. This is not a race or a timed event, be safe and have fun!

Cards can be collect at these venues:

• Burton Store located in the Village at Northstar
• Burton Demo Tent at Mid Mountain
• Burton Academy located at Mid Mountain
• Riglet Park located at Mid Mountain
• TC's Pub located in the Village at Northstar

 

Riglet Park & 'Lil' Riglet Jam

Kids as young as three can try out snowboarding for FREE. Burton will provide snowboards, boots and bindings sized for the smallest kids to borrow at no charge.  Must have a valid lift ticket to access the Riglet Park, and the park will take place Friday- Sunday.

'Lil' Riglet Jam - Saturday, February 4 at 2:30 p.m.

Make sure you make it to the Riglet Park by 2:30pm on Saturday, February 4 for the first annual 'Lil' Riglet Jam'! To win shredders will have to learn something cool and stomp it out in the Riglet Park with support from their parents!  This event is open to all families with new or learning shredders ages 6 and under. Every kid can stop by and try snowboarding for their first time with Burton Academy coaches. Happy shredding!

 

Pro-Test Competition Series

Your favorite contest series has a new name and some important changes for this season. The revamped 2012 Burton Pro-Test is a regional amateur snowboarding competition series that will hit 6 resorts across the U.S. this winter season featuring two NEW very special slopestyle events at Northstar and Killington.

The Burton Pro-Test is the North American grassroots competition series of the Burton Global Open Series (“BGOS”) and all are 4Star TTR World Snowboard Tour events. All riders that compete in the Burton Pro-Test will earn valuable ranking points for both TTR and BGOS. Burton Test Ride

Demo New 2012 Gear!

Riders can try out a variety of boards, boots and bindings to get a real feel for their ultimate set-up. Test Ride is where virtually the entire 2012 Burton hardgoods line will be on tap for riders to test at absolutely no charge. Must have a valid lift ticket to access the Burton Test Ride.
