2009 Burton AM Series being held at Northstar-at-Tahoe^TM  is a regional amateur snowboarding competition series.  The events are open for all amateur competitors and will feature men's and women's slopestyle and halfpipe competitions.  Men's and women's first place winners in each discipline will receive a wildcard entry into the 2009 US Open Snowboarding Championships.  This event series gives amateur riders from all regions in the US a chance to guarantee a spot into the US Open by winning a contest on their home mountain. 

January 10 - Slopestyle
January 11 - Halfpipe Unfortunately due to snow conditions the halfpipe portion of the event has been canceled. 

 

Requirements

Burton AM Series events are open to all competitors regardless of age or gender. To register in advance please visit http://www.Burton.com/NewsAndEvents/Events.aspx .  Day-Of registration is handled on a first come first serve basis and will take place the morning of the events in the Village at Northstar^TM .  All competitors must complete a waiver and bring it with them to on-site registration on the day of competition.
